Jacob Yates goes by the moniker of Idle Earth when he blends and cooks up tunes to his liking. He's just getting on his feet in this chaotic electronic music scene, though he is currently developing into quite the producer. From ambient experimental to funkalicious tracks, he has already shown his versatility. Not to mention that he is only 18 years old and has remixed the likes of Major Lazer and Zedd in the utmost quality.
Idle Earth's latest expedition lands himself in a path that crosses with a Los Angeles based trio named Sir Sly. They have been getting a lot of attention recently and have been snowballing in popularity since the release their debut album You Haunt Me via Cherrytree Records, an affiliate of Interscope Records. Idle Earth jumped on the opportunity to remix their song "You Haunt Me" and turned it into an uplifting, dancey tune. He keeps the vocals mostly intact, only sampling what is necessary to make it an addicting blend of dance and feel-good vibes. The remix itself isn't anything groundbreaking or sonically unique, though it does have an irresistible and euphoric mood which makes it have good replay value.
