Jonas Rathsman has released some top-notch material this year, including remixes for Tensnake and Duke Dumont, in addition to his dance floor killing singles “Skepparkrans” and “Hope I’m Wrong.” Adding to the list of amazing things from the Swedish producer is his remix of Sam Smith’s track “Like I Can.”
Rathsman completely makes over the track from a guitar and piano-laden ballad into a dark, brooding house track. About 2 minutes in, his remix gets into full swing as Rathsman’s signature French Express attitude comes out over the original mix’s sentiment. It creates the perfect mysterious air for this time of year. It’s a shame this one isn't going to be available until the full Like I Can EP comes out in December. Producers Artful (of Artful Dodger) and duo iLL BLU will also contribute remixes on the EP. Make sure to keep an ear out!
