Just Kiddin transforms Becky Hill's "Losing" into piano-driven, deep house treat

Following their success with "Thinking About It" and a remix of Snakadaktal's "The Sun II,"  Just Kiddin has transformed rising UK pop star Becky Hill's "Losing" into dance floor fire.  They follow in the footsteps of other UK DJs, like Gorgon City and Martin Ikin, in turning pop into piano-driven house.  Despite their name, this production duo isn't kidding around.

The remix's introduction combines deep bass and ghostly sampled vocals, before synthesizers and other layers of sound are added in.  Becky Hill's first verse is marked by a baritone electronic (or male vocal) echo, adding depth to the original track.  A synthesizer phrase builds with a trickle into Just Kiddin's chorus after Hill announces she's "through with losing."  Vocal samples drop back in as simple yet ecstatic and infectious piano riff takes over. Luckily for listeners, the piano sticks around for a little while and returns to finish out the song with a bang.

UK fans can check the production duo out this fall when they embark on a tour that will land them in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and other major cities.  The rest of us can keep listening to this remix and stay tuned for Just Kiddin to release more ear-catching dance music.
