After one of the most anticipated debuts house has seen in a very long time, Thomas Jack spread tropical love over an enchanted Webster Hall crowd this last week. Previously running into some problems with a work visa, TJ and the Golden Hare Group are happy to announce that his visa has been approved and he is ready to take the States by storm. Not much left say about TJ that hasn't already been written time and time again, hes delivering some of the freshest sounds in house and is quickly becoming a serious staple in dance music. From his Tropical House mix tape series that has featured the likes of Klingande, to some of the freshest dance floors grooves we have seen over the last two years. Thomas Jack has curated nothing but love for all of us.
In celebration of this monumental moment for the young artist and the beginning of a new chapter in a blossoming career, TJ gifts his fans with a brand new remix. Fresher than the organic fruit section, his tropical house rendition of Ben Sollee's "Letting Go" puts a smile on your face and takes you away to a distant place. This work was inspired by the beach of Tulum in Mexico, as the voice of Sollee rolls over you like crashing waves on that white sand beach. Taking the classic up a notch, TJ adds his tropical funk making this jam another instant favorite for me.
