Deep house and garage tunes meet early millennial R&B soul in this stirring mix by Denver-based producer and DJ, Eric. David. R&B group Jagged Edge provide the vocals, as sampled from their 2003 track, "Walk Outta Heaven," and have a big hand in taking this track full of kick drums, piano melodies, and haunting organs to the next level. A comparison of this mix (which happens to be David's first single release on Night Supply) with his latest EP, CRANE, an show a trend in the Mile High City native's production taste, and oh, what a good trend it is. Vocal samples by the likes of Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, Jodeci, Cee Jay, and SWV laid over garage beats make for the same soulful and dance-heavy concoction that you'll hear in the "Walk Outta Heaven" mix below.
