Rosie Lowe released her debut EP Right Thing back in December last year. It created a huge amount of buzz in the UK, including being featured on BBC's Introducing platform. She's been reasonably quiet throughout 2014 so far, except appearing at a number of festivals, however it's been understood she's been hard at work on some brand new material. Her debut album is hotly anticipated and theres no doubt it will be picked up by the UK music scene, as her debut EP did.
With a refreshing new single "Water Came Down", the alternative-R&B artist from South London may start to give FKA Twigs a run for her money. She's signed to Paul Epworth's Wolf Tone Records, alongside the incredible Glass Animals, so is in good hands to develop a fruitful career. "Water Came Down" has an unusual poppy edge, but still encompasses Lowe's soulful, R&B vocals. Have a watch of the Jacob Hopewell directed visual and keep an eye out for her forthcoming album:
