Today, EARMILK has the pleasure of premiering the newest offering from Cologne, Germany's dance duo, VIMES. Acting as a follow up to the release of their reprise of last years single "Celestial", Azhar Syed and Julian Stetter have now taken it upon themselves to tackle a real indie gem: "Twin" by Oslo Parks.
The track, originally released via X Novo (home of Phoria) back in July 2014, garnered a lot of blog attention, gaining over 100K streams and launched the Brighton band to the top of the Hype Machine charts. We like to think of "Twin" as synth pop in all of its glory.

"Twin" as a VIMES remix ventures into more pop/dance/electronica territory. Proving to be real a pleasure to listen to, "Twin" is now more haunting and pop-oriented than ever. All the while maintaining a hummed-out and all-encompassing backdrop, the remix features bubbly synth and subdued electronic notes, showing off each inch of talent that both VIMES and Oslo Parks possess.
This premiere just so happens to fall exactly a week out from Oslo Parks' debut show at Green Door Store on October 2 in Brighton, UK. If you're about, be sure to check them out! You'll be among the first to ever do so.
