Yellerkin, an act comprised of two very talented fellas named Adrian Galvin and Luca Buccellati, have done it again with "Tools". With only their debut single "Solar Years" to compare it to, "Tools" proves itself as just impressive.
With a bit of an electronic edge, the new single is euphoric and anthemic, with a driving force throughout that doesn't seem to want to quit. Where "Solar Years" was folky and DIY-esque, "Tools" is poppy and glimmers with every synth note hit. Though on paper the two tracks seem to be quite a 180 from one another, Yellerkin manages to maintain a common denominator: a grassroots, honest approach to indie pop music.
