Just a few weeks back Reading's Sundara Karma released "Indigo Puff", a promising single that truly set the stage for what was to come. Today, the foursome have unveiled a killer b-side that goes by the name of "Hustle".
The tune is sharp in percussion with poppy vocals, all draped across a funk rock backdrop. While remaining faithful to their melodic guitar-driven style, Sundara Karma play with heavier emphasis on both synth and distortion. It's a step in an interesting and experimental direction, if you ask me.
"Indigo Puff"/"Hustle" will be released officially on October 6 via 203 Recordings. Feel free to check them out live at Reading Oakford Social on September 24 as well as at London Barfly on September 25.
