With decompression just around the corner, the spirit of Burning Man stays strong as memories from this year's weeklong celebration of humanness continue to flit through attendees' minds. Desert Hearts, the San Diego community of house and techno lovers that shares many of the 'do unto others' qualities of the burn, will be celebrating its two year anniversary in November, sharing a four day extravaganza of electronic music in a TBA "off the grid" location in Southern California.
As a taste of what is to come, we have for you today the premiere of "You're Mine" from one of the collective's artists, Kevin Anderson. It's a deep house track that lives on shimmering hi hat and reverberating vocals, but finds a unique sound in rising, expansive chords. The lead track will be joined by a remix and two originals (one a solo and another a collaboration) come release day, and marks the second production for Desert Hearts Records.
