Last week we introduced the Escape Music Festival Mixtape Series with a sunny, upbeat house mix from The Most Definitely. This week we take things to the darker bass heavy side with an aggressive and intoxicating mix from New York City duo ASTR. Many may recognize ASTR for their electrifying single “Operate” which features beautiful R&B vocals and hip-hop tinged bass melodies. This song was a common staple in many sets this festival circuit and will be sure to have the crowd crying out for the doctor during their set at Escape Music Festival this October. For the Escape Music Festival series, ASTR calls on bass heavy hip-hop remixes and other deep house vibes that are gritty, edgy, and in your face.
