While Tycho's latest LP Awake is about as consistent as they come, "See" still manages to stand out as one of the strongest tracks. Its driving percussion, warm guitar, and synth flourishes sum up the strengths of Scott Hansen's recent music. Now the track's been given a more dancefloor-friendly remix from Ghostly International label mates Beacon, a rising Brooklyn-based duo. Vocalist Thomas Mullarney's vocals are a beautiful match for Tycho's melodies, and the production takes things in an airy, more club-oriented direction that is truly memorable.
