If you're less into the summery, vocal laden styles of UK Garage and prefer something a little grittier, then you don't have to look very far than by taking a gander at London's very own Erol Alkan.
The Phantasy Sound labelhead has been curating and cultivating a certain je ne sais quoi for quite a while now, proving his production prowess with Daniel Avery and Late Of The Pier. He's also done official remixes for the likes of Daft Punk and Justice, if his work on Phantasy Sound wasn't quite enough proof.
He's the latest to release a FabricLive mix, a necessary requirement for all serious DJs, and with it comes some goodies for the public. The track "Sub Conscious" is easily one of them as it delves into his mind and shows us what crazy world lies beneath the surface.
