New track “Stay With Me” from cult favorite Monogem recently premiered on Noisey and it is a positively infectious electro and soul influenced pop sparkler. The LA based duo – comprised of vocalist Jen Hirsh and producer Scott Smith – have only released a few tracks thus far but have had a fantastic fan response from each one. “Stay With Me” was recorded in Hirsh’s distinctive vocal style, which is somewhat reserved but filled with warmth that pulls the listener in. She implores a lover not to leave in a soft way that is ultimately relatable, a moment of desperation with the quiet vocal intensity that she is fast becoming known for in the industry. On it Hirsh claims not to know the words but seems to be able to croon the emotions quite accurately.
