James Vincent McMorrow is known for his haunting falsettos and fantastic song writing. Most of is work revolves around slower-paced environments and atmospheres. So what do you get when you through Detroit producer Atu into the fray? With his smooth production style that incorporates aspects of r&b and the piano, it was almost inevitable for the two to cross paths.
Atu made a few alterations to McMorrow's ambient tune "Glacier". Right off the bat, we get a wave of Atu-styled beats which is perfectly accompanied by McMorrow's wonderful voice. That r&b beat gives it a little more bump to it's kick, given that the original is actually quite ambient and minimal in percussion. Atu has upped the sensuality of "Glacier" and has given it a different aura and vibes.
