Australia has been a hot spot for some of the most delicious nu-disco and sunny dance music over the past few years. It seems like every time something amazing pops up, they’re from the Land Down Under. Joining the ranks of bands like Miami Horror, Van She, Bag Raiders, Mitzi, and Panama are fellow Aussies from Olympic Ayres. The duo is about to release their debut EP next month, and the singles already online show that it’s shaping up to be a party.

“Say My Name” is the third song we’ve gotten to taste from the six-track Leisureplex EP. All the DFA fans in the house are going to love this one—it sounds like something Holy Ghost! would release. Olympic Ayres taps into the perfect 70s-inspired synth disco complete with a groovy bassline, dance floor sass, and most importantly, some nice resounding handclaps.

The Leisureplex EP comes out fully on September 16th. When you pre-order from iTunes, you can instantly get "Say My Name" along with the other announced tracks "Take Flight" and "Control." If you haven't, check out the other singles. There are also some pretty sweet remixes from Pat Lok, Say Yes Dog, James Curd, and Acaddamy floating around as free downloads from Olympic Ayres.
