If there's one evaluation that I can make of Black Butter Records, it's that they recruit soon-to-be-hyped artists, before they've gone disco viral. Today we've got a special premiere of one of those artists: singer/songwriter Sam Sure. His debut single "Hunger" was (literally) just debuted on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show, and he is sure to be marked as an artist to watch out of London's underground electronic scene. "Hunger" is a unique take on electronic music, with sampled vocals and his own tied together tightly by pointed, witty lyrics with a splash of hip hop inspiration. Out on October 13th, "Hunger" will be in my headphones until its release date.
