Meramek remixes Prides’s “I Should Know You Better”

With many celebrated hits already under his belt on both Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, a year ago London based Oliver Smith debuted his deep house alias, Meramek, with his Feeling/ Maybe/ FWD EP on Anjunadeep, with “Feeling” earning a coveted spot in Anjunadeep The Yearbook 2013.

Now, Meramek is back with a remix of “I Should Know You Better” by Prides. The original track discusses the possibility of being in love with someone while still discovering who that person is, breeding thoughts of fear and doubt. One thing that is without a doubt is that with this remix, Meramek reproduced the quintessential Anjunadeep sound, making this remix worth more than just a listen. Stewart Brock’s voice has the perfect balance of wanting and confidence gliding effortlessly over the track enticing the listener into believing his love, while the heavy low-end groove and crisp, shuffling percussion produce a driving bass track. The result is a remix primed to do some damage on the dance floor.
