Synth-pop duo Child Actor are set to drop a new album, Never Die, on September 4 via Fake Four. The LP's title-track and lead single, "Never Die" is an immaculately-produced gem of a pop song, the kind of flawless track that can bring a band loads of attention all on its own.
The single has already been given an impressive music video, and now the track has been reshaped by another duo familiar with the Fake Four label, Blue Sky Black Death. Their unique brand of lush, emotive instrumental production is a fitting modification to the original's razor-sharp synths, offering a different mood, but still using the strength of the vocal hooks to its advantage.
