When I was a senior in high school, Kid Sister was the shit. She was the Kanye West protege that was hanging out with the likes of A-Trak and the little sister to Flosstradamus's Josh, a then little known underground representing the Chicago dance scene.
She'd spent some time very very quiet since those days, and while I'd still occasionally play the track she made with Carte Blanche "Do! Do! Do!," she went largely into the category of music titled as 'nostalgic high school music.' However, the young artist had been tweeting little hints that she was finally going to release something, and now she has! Her newest release is in the form of a mixtape, and again she's chosen to work with some of the most exciting artists out there.
From NYC artist Chapman to Etc!Etc!, the list of producers and featured guests is endless, and the result is some super ill music. Check out the mixtape below to see that there are female rappers that are killing it right now.
