Laidback Luke livens “Love Looks” by Style Of Eye and Lars Allertz [Premiere]

With a non-stop tour schedule, the venerable Mixmash Records imprint, and chart-topping releases, Laidback Luke continues to set industry standards both with his own productions and through his support of new acts. Just last month the Philipino-Dutch electronic artist put out the deep house track "Bae" with his wife Gina Turner, and a few months before that he collaborated with D.O.D on the festival-ready "Flashing Lights". Keeping in tune with the latter anthem, Laidback Luke offers his skills to remix "Love Looks" by Style Of Eye (aka Linus Eklöw) and Lars Allertz, the latest single from Eklöw's forthcoming sophomore album, Footprints.

Though the entire release will drop October 7th via Ultra Records, the original "Love Looks" has been circulating for a while now and will get an official remix package this Friday. Today's track, Luke's rendition, twists the progressive house work in an entirely new direction. Starting with a climbing, brassy entrance, the maestro blends heavily modded vocals with festival drops to create a frenzied electro blast that will surely set crowds afire.
