Skizzy Mars asks his one true love to “Come Over” [Download]

Since the release of “Douche Bag” and his debut mixtape Phases, Skizzy Mars has been on every major blog's radar due to his progressive take on New York City rap. Mars got his first big co-sign from none other than the king of New York hip-hop businessman himself, Diddy, on his track “Cheer Up”. Since then, Skizzy Mars has continued making huge advances in the hip-hop industry with his sophomore tape, Pace, and his most recent collaboration with G-Eazy on the mesmerizing, “Monica Lewinsky”. Now just a few months after the release of his most recent project Mars has dropped “Come Over”; a romantic track, Skizzy’s specialty, that’s about his perfect girl.

“Come Over” features a reappropriated version of the melody from Shura’s “Touch” produced by Michael Keenan. The instrumental sets the perfect tone for the track with a trickling-pinging melody and wavy synths, which provide the perfect backdrop for Skizzy Mars to rap and sing over. One can’t help but enter a state of tranquility as they listen to the Penthouse Music artist’s easy going rhymes.
