Future is back ladies and gentlemen, and we couldn't be more excited for this new track, "Monster," which combines the incredible production forces of Metro Boomin and Southside together with the god that is the rapper Future.
The EARMILK Hip Hop writers forum online is bountiful with Future conversations. Seriously, peek in there at any time and it's chock full of obscure odes and a lot of back and forth about why Future might be our savior, so a song where he kills it titled"Monster," is sort of a big one for us.
While he's not exactly changing the rap game here, the track shows the best of all three involved in making it- Metro Boomin and Southside bring their trap production a-game, and Future does also with his mumblecore-esque approach to rap.
