DOROTHY is a rock quartet hailing from Los Angles, California. Named after their fiery front-woman, DOROTHY brings intensity and emotion to the genre. Guitarist Mark Jackson and bassist Greg make a tight string plucking duo, while drummer Zac Morris is a heavy hitter on drums. DOROTHY has the makings of being the next Big Brother and the Holding Company, which was fronted by legendary songstress Janis Joplin. You might even compare them to Sleigh Bells, but edgier and less pop. Dorothy's style of bluesy rock is something music has desperately been missing.
Their latest single "Wild Fire," is a dose of unbridled energy from start to finish. Dorothy's attitude and relentlessness is refreshing in a day and age where over-polished product is common in the music industry.
