Bibio's hazy remix of Tycho's "Spectre" is lazy summer day perfection

Like the rest of Tycho's latest album for Ghostly International, Awake, the original mix of "Spectre" is an upbeat affair, with robust drums and intertwining guitar notes.  For a different take, he's handed the track over to Warp's sonic artisan Stephen Wilkinson, aka Bibio.  

Bibio is many things – multi-instrumentalist, DJ, producer (and apparently a damn good chef) – so he could have taken the remix any direction he saw fit.  His choice was a simple acoustic number with a little bit of keys thrown in, and those wonderful reverse effects that make everything sound like a nostalgic look through an old photo album.  Bibio's often much more ambitious in his own work as of late, but some of my favorite tracks of his are also his most unassuming.
