Both artists have recently collaborated to deliver a smooth, soulful edit of the classic throwback, “Ascension” by Maxwell. This summer hit makes me move my head back and forth and snap my fingers like I am legit at the disco. Vocal edits, twangy sounding synths, and claps give this track an especially groovy feel, while a funky bass and other new electronic elements sink into a more forward sounding track that errs on the side of house.
