As usual, Annie Mac premiered some big singles during her BBC Radio 1 show over the weekend. This Friday's show featured a special first listen of British producer Secondcity's sophomore single featuring the vocals of Ali Love, "What Can I Do." And while the pressure must have been on to produce a great follow up to "I Wanna Feel," this one is just as effortless as the first time we heard from Secondcity. "What Can I Do" moves in a new direction, a little bit away from the nu disco feeling in "I Wanna Feel." Still focusing on bubbly, groovy piano chord progressions, this record is calmer, progressive pop that works with real-time vocals instead of an addictive sample. Check out the Mac-approved track below before it's out on Ministry of Sound / Speakerbox soon.
