Dems soothe with "Got No Brains" [Video Premiere]

The British electronic trio, Dems hadn't released any new original material for some time before buoying back onto the scene last month with "Got No Brains". Set to be officially released on August 14th via Bad Life Recordings, "Got No Brains" finds the trio at an expansive point in their career, as it showcases a refined sound that they have been honing in on since their inception. Releasing remixes and original songs for over two years, Dems sway towards eye-opening experimental indie music that focuses on lush soundscapes to push hushed, soulful vocals along.

In keeping with the delicate atmosphere that is built by the music in "Got No Brians", the video for the song keeps to a simplistic setting, allowing the song to fully flourish. Set in what looks to be an industrial basement, strobed lighting breaks up transitioning images of the group. In presenting body language of grooving to the enthralling music, Dems push these same feeling of letting go into the length of the song, with a fading guitar and climbing effects carrying you along.

With a surely bright future ahead, "Got No Brains" should leave a lasting impression and excitement for what is to come from Dems.
