Imagine Dolores O'Riordan from The Cranberries voice paired with a more mellow, electronic vibe and you wouldn't be far off from Fractions' latest track “Breathe”. Although the vocals are dialed back, smoothed out and paired with an electro-beat, it holds the same strength and phrasing style that’s so distinctive.
Despite the members of Fractions doing their own thing creatively then, passing around ideas and contributions back and forth; the overall sound isn’t fractioned at all. Instead it’s a unified energy with a strong foundation; drawing on the strengths and creativity of each member. Fractions EP comes out September 8, 2014
