One of the finest purveyors of dance music and a guiding light to many of us who have followed electronic from days past, Fred Falke has a special place in many house lovers' hearts. What always strikes me about Falke's work is its clear instrumentality, where strong guitar lines and electro piano riffs play out and give each track a live feeling. That, and somehow the vocals lie perfectly in every song, wrapping around melodies and bass at the absolutely optimal volume. Such is the case with his "Too Cool To Dance" rework, originally done by the pop female vocalist Eden xo who has spent time with the iconic Lady Gaga and Britney Spears. Like usual, Falke balances the highlights with updated house sensibilities, making a danceable pop remix for our enjoyment.
