Straight disco. It's not dead, nor is it going anywhere for a long time. Thanks to artists like Chromeo, Daft Punk, Bag Raiders, and many of the artist on labels like Future Classic. They consistently repave the already established road, paying homage to a sound falsely assumed dead. Up & coming artists, most notably DJ Anubus, are right there with them.
You may have heard of Anubus from his DMC championships and YouTube scratch routines. He's got incredible talent behind the decks, but does he have it behind the keyboard? Yes. Yes, he does. In fact, so much so that we are ready to support him in his efforts to create a unique vinyl album of his disco tunes through Kickstarter. When talking to Anubus the other day, we established that he was planning on color vinyl. That is dope, and we gladly hopped on board with the idea.
