When we premiered CR Black's bumping new single "Do My Thing", which featured fellow Slocal homie ItsNate and talented London rapper Tee Stone, the Slocal movement was gathering pace amidst talk of taking their brand across the channel and onto Berlin, Germany for a night of chaos. Well, in April those plans became reality, and one of the UK's most promising cliques flew out to Berlin to show the German's just how far British hip hop is progressing.
This week we were blessed with the video for "Do My Thing", which, in turn, visually deciphers that night in Germany and the dopeness that ensued. We see shots of the Slocal gang mobbin' in the streets of Berlin, intersected by footage taken from their live show and after parties showing exactly what went on behind the scenes. With appearances from the majority of the crew, including beat wizard JD Reid, the video is the perfect visual accompininent for such a turnt up jam like "Do My Thing".
