If there last drop "Felon" wasn't enough to get you going, then Slumberjack's newest edit of What So Not's "Touched" will knock your socks off. If you didn't know, Australian friends Emoh and Flume make up the highly fueled up What So Not, releasing some of this year's greatest trap tunes.
Slumberjack on the other hand is outspokenly into the Glitch Mob style, producing much more of an emphatic drumline, hard bass, and even some instrument switches in their remixes. The boys aren't shy in revealing their influences, not only the boys over at G.M. but also Mr. Carmack and What So Not. I'm loving the Tibetan vocals of Silvertongue within their version, giving an already high paced track a dose of stellar soundscape. I don't complain with this style of electronic music. I'm not one to usually be into something that makes me feel like I need to break down walls, but beats like these can't go unnoticed (or un-enjoyed).
DIE HIGH Records has been my go to for a while, and I feel honored to premiere yet another track here on EARMILK. Hit Slumberjack's new edit of "Touched" and get a feel for the glitch side of things, the presence is strong with these two.
