JL warms up my day with a two track release "Never Have / Night Walk"

I have an odd obsession with the sound of a steel drum. It's not unusual to have an obsessive compulsion towards a hint of sound perhaps, but to the steel drum? It must be the emerging capsulation of island music within dance tracks. Whatever it is, I'm into it.

I'm not sure if what JL, or Alex Hiew, utilizes in his tracks are steel drum samples, but those warmth synths do make me feel "oh so" comfortable. A little over a week ago the Australian beat maker crafted, perfected, and delivered a two track release containing progressive sounds "Never Have" and "Night Walk." What a pleasant treat at the cost of free, since these are both available for download over on J's Facebook page.

DIE HIGH Records is at it again with this very Cashmere Cat, Stwo-esque musician. I really appreciate each sound that's dropped out of their docket because we're not bombarded by similar sounds, yet with almost an experiment after experiment. They've definitely won my heart, and if you're into JL's nature, take a second to check out the other DIE HIGH artists I've covered.

Enjoy this two track release from JL, and make sure to add it to the weekend playlist.
