I can count on one hand the number of facts that I know about Bruno Belissimo. 1) He is from Toronto, 2) His debut single with Local International is about to officially drop tomorrow, but we've got your first listen here, and 3) he likes Bloody Marys. But who doesn't? I don't trust a person who can't appreciate a good Bloody Mary – or avocados. But that's a topic for another time.
I can infer plenty about Bruno Belissimo's talent and will most likely need a few more digits to talk about this debut project of his. His tracks "Galaxy" and "Ethiopia" dive right off into the deep end of sumptuous beats. They inspire both vivid introspection and beach oriented dance parties. If you take a gander at the music video for "Galaxy" below, you'll notice that even the old biddies couldn't resist dancing to a good beat.
The spacey vibes blend with Belissimo's subtle use of house elements for a real aural treat. He even manages to implement re-imagined disco into the mix and I can't wait to jam to this on the dance floor.
