Riddim Commission transforms Linden Jay's latest, "Be Like You" [Exclusive Download]

The first time I heard Linden Jay's newest song, "Be Like you", I had a flashback to Kanye West's "Flashing Lights". It may be a strange comparison, but the track's perfect mixture of suave vocals sliding over electronic production definitely took me back. If you haven't heard of Jay before, the up-and-coming, London-based artist bills himself as a "producer, remixer, drummer, sound engineer and musical director" – quite the lengthy list of roles, backed up by Sony RME and Bullet Train Records.

Today "Be Like You" undergoes the remix treatment by fellow countrymen, Riddim Commission. Comprised of Marco Del Horno and DJ Swerve, the duo recently gained notoriety through their stunning rework of Iggy Azalea/Charli XCX's "Fancy". Taking Jay's original down a few notches, Riddim Commission blend a deep, undulating melody with alto vocals to turn the dark electro pop piece into a late night house track. This seems to be the beginning for all artists involved, so buy the original on iTunes now and grab the Riddim Commission remix for free below.
