It’s always nice to know that an artist drives their music for their fans rather than driving it solely for the money. Well that’s the case here for this German lad, who goes by the name Glastrophobie. I’ve been sharing his feel good melodic house over the past few months and he has yet to leave me unsatisfied, I hope you as well! The end goal in mind for the young producer is to simply make music that moves people and introduces them to under-the-radar artists from all over the world, and to have that music heard by his fans and their fans alike. Combining singer and songwriters originals with his own productions takes this music into crossover territory which I’m all for. Music is a universal language and shouldn’t be defined by genres or stereotypes and it most certainly shouldn’t pigeonhole a listener.
This week Glastrophobie returns with lead male vocalist and Louisiana native Dylan LeBlanc’s “If The Creek Don’t Rise”. Maintaining the original strings and adding some twinkling hi-hats and upbeat rhythms the rising stunner, wins the heart again with an emotionally charged take on an underrated artist.
