We've got a special treat ahead of the June 23rd release of Australian indie band RÜFÜS DU SOL's new EP Sundream. But first let's face it: the past year has taught us that breaking into the North American circuit can be hard, but we've seen so many Australian groups break through barriers after having huge success in their homeland (think Aston Shuffle – now we're talking).
Sundream has the traits of a successful EP, based off the fact that it's already been proven through the chart topping power that the album it's selected from, Atlas has already seen in Australia.
Our premiere today comes from our favorite American summery deep house duo Classixx. Along with Casino Gold, their remix of "Sundream" is featured on the EP, for your first listen below. Classixx has done what they do best, taking "Sundream" down a laid back path highlighted by simple but forceful bass and percussion, and a similarly well-done futuristic synth path.
