Cliff Savage has called upon the services of Jetpack Jones and producer Don Diestro to help continue his #SavageSunday series. "The Revolution" follows last week's Giga HD-produced "Dead Demons", a hyperactive track which saw Savage get… savage… on the kooky beat.
This time, Don Diestro takes production credits for a more reserved, but equally dynamic arrangement on which Jetpack Jones guests. Long Beach's Savage and Lakewood's Jones "don't miss a beat" in this attack on the pitfalls of a digital world where kids don't leave the house. Savage even opens up about his childhood dreams of a career in veterinary medicine.
"I hope you notice I don’t miss a beat, counting sheep when I sleep. N****s know my name, and on the track I always come with heat. When I was young, I used to want to be a vet, until I realised these animals couldn't buy a jet."
Diestro's keyboard-led tones also operate on a clinical level, stylishly ticking along under the bars of Savage's lyrical revolution. "The Revolution" will not be televised, but you can download it below.
