The gears are turning and Slumberjack has elevated their glitchy, trap beat style to the max with the release of "Felon." It's obvious the duo is emphatic about using peculiar and appealing sounds, such as the somewhat "clocking" found within their heavy drops. DIE HIGH Records has been on a tear, artist after artist, and I believe this duo is a nice complement to their usually experimental sounds. "Felon" is a familiar song for anyone who has been in the electro hop scene for a while, but when Slumberjack was asked to categorize their sound, here's what they said:
“We really try to stray away from 'classifying' our sound, its a big sticking point for us as we don't want to be pigeonholed into any particular genre."
