Normally, a song under the break-up umbrella topic could come off as being forced, but in the case of latest release “Moving On,” by UK based producer Stonebank we simply find a search for answers. Featuring passionate and decidedly gospel based vocal styling’s by EMEL his production skills coupled with her voice takes us on a ride full of flawlessly produced twists, turns and epic drops through the healing process. For various reasons, this track was especially relevant to me and I’m sure that the majority of listeners have at somewhere and at sometime been in exactly the same position that the melodic yet heavy-hitting house- and electro-influenced track depicts. Released on the Vancouver based label Monstercat I’m sure that it helped many a lonely and avid EDM fan move on and accept their past mistakes in relationships while they took time to just listen, and ultimately heal.
