Artists and musicians alike create works for many reasons- out of love, pain, suffering for example- but when someone makes something to truly inspire others, it can completely take your breath away. Molly Williams understands that once an initial work has been created, every listener hears something different when enjoying her music, giving a template for others to build off is something Williams has truly fallen in love with.
Molly Williams is an extremely talented, young, and driven vocalist currently living in Los Angeles who's turning dreams into realities in the city of angels. Her forte of music tends to lean towards a beautiful combination of indie & electronica, producing a voice that is almost heavenly. Influenced by all walks of music, Molly has early memories as a child taking long car rides and listening to the Rolling Stones and becoming hypnotized to the music of Radiohead; her more recent stimulation of inspiration comes from artists Bjork, Phantogram, and Chet Faker who have created the sacred, ethereal space for experimental, dream pop. In the end the production of rich musical taste and an energy that can be felt through her passion for musical production, Williams has nothing but a bright and successful future ahead of her.
Today we have something extremely special as she debuts her first single "Stay Don't Go" off her debut studio album XXIII: ALIVE. The indie trap/ electro soul tune tells the story of a toxic love that is too addicting to let go, as the song plays out you can feel the pain of an angel being drowned in passion. It's one of those songs you have to listen to a couple times to really understand the full message and beauty of the work. This album is the product of countless hours and days spent in the studio finding that perfect sound that Molly has now ultimately achieved. Be on the lookout for the rest of the album coming out soon from Molly Williams, XXIII: Alive.
