Hailing from Detroit and looking to make his imprint on the hip-hop scene is Slap Nevada, a 22-year-old that is kicking off his summer campaign with the lead single from his fall-slated EP. With a compelling flow and a voice that lands him somewhere between A$AP Rocky and Chief Keef, the newcomer's self-produced "Died In Your Arms" boasts a convincing up-tempo delivery and a nostalgic sample employment of Cutting Crew's "I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight." Slap Nevada is supporting Dizzy Wright in Lansing, MI on June 25th, and if the potential we see in "Died In Your Arms" is any indication of what's to come from the "glam/trillstep" artist, 2014 may be an exciting year for the young talent.
