Chris Malinchak and Mikky Ekko channel MJ for new hit “Stranger”

Back with another huge single, New York based producer Chris Malinchak teams up with singer Mikky Ekko for a funky little disco pop gem that sounds like Michael Jackson. In fact, would fit in perfectly on that new MJ album. It might actually be better than anything on the posthumous release, but I’ve only heard it once. I’d want to give a few more listens before I make any definitive statements about things being better than Michael Jackson.

BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong agrees on the MJ comparison though, making “Stranger” the third Chris Malinchak track to be named an Essential New Tune. “Stranger” follows the free download of “Freak,” a dirtier and darker side of Malinchak. Make sure to grab that while it’s still free. The new single goes more along the lines of last year’s smash hit track “So Good To Me,” going for some big summer house vibes. Let’s see what summer does for “Stranger.” I think it’ll be a hit! Look for it July 7th.
