Since probably about 16, I've been listening to NY DJ Eli Escobar almost religiously. From his podcasts out back when Fool's Gold was still doing Foolcasts and Eli Escobar was releasing tracks on the now defunct RCRDLBL, I was convinced my future would include me partying at Escobar's Tiki Disco and party in NYC in their great underground dance scene.
It never ended up quite being like that, but Escobar is still releasing amazing tracks that need to get the recognition it truly deserves. The NYC resident brings some serious disco influenced vibes that are a testament to his stronghold in the dance scene of the Big Apple.
Featuring two original tracks and two remixes, this is not one to sleep on. Escobar's talent is undeniable, and with summer coming along the way, Escobar is a DJ that is on my bucket list of artists to see.
