As we inch ever closer to the summer and inevitably festival season, we always get a flurry of releases vying to be our soundtrack to the summer months. Well, fear not dear readers, as we may have just the thing for you right here with the exclusive premiere of the new single from UK bass dons Star One.
"No Way" see's the dynamic sibling duo provide us with a bass drenched banger to help us kick off the summer festivities. Star One have called upon Trim, one of Grimes most exciting emcee's around at the moment, who provides the lyrical firepower alongside the powerful tones of rising vocalist Thabo, who comes through with a memorable hook. Both artists are thrown onto an instrumental that is absolutely drenched in bass, as they flick from the trap-influenced horns at the start, to the hard hitting drum and bass rhythms towards the end. One thing is clear from the release of this first single from the Star One boys, they're back in 2014 with a tremendous bang. If this track is anything to go by, the feature-heavy mixtape Elements is set to be a massive, massive release this summer.
