Vibe to Kidd Upstairs & Hippie Sabotage's Addictive Summer Anthem "Went Down"

Jam for days. Looks like Kidd Upstairs' Hippie Sabotage-produced single is bound to go viral, and for good reason. The track incorporates everything we fell in love with from the Hippies' stellar international hit remix of Tove Lo's "Habits" (which they aptly renamed "Stay High") – from the catchy melodies to the entrancing vocals and the cinematic hip-hop/electronic fusion surrounding them. It's a style that compliments Kidd's delivery well, making for a really great tune bound to get stuck in your head.

"Went Down" is the lead single off Los Angeles artist/producer Kidd Upstairs' forthcoming project KVSHMIR II, and it's a no-brainer summer anthem you could easily hear infiltrating radio. With his sharp incite and storytelling, Kidd capitalizes on the chill feel of the record. Kidd and Hippies are a great pairing, so hopefully "Went Down" is a sign of possible future collaborations. As a bonus, revisit Kidd's similarly catchy past hits "DMNDS" and "Pockets" below.
