Taking on a dance remix of Coldplay is always a risky maneuver. Not only will there be a slew of competition, but a mediocre production just to add in Chris Martin's singalong vocals can be incredibly underwhelming. With the band's new album coming to fruition this spring, I was cautiously optimistic for a few euphoric dance versions that were an improvement on the original.
Progressive house whiz kid Osen delivers the perfect balance with his bootleg of "A Sky Full of Stars". While this one's an unofficial remix, Osen is no stranger to playing with the big boys, currently charting on the LE7ELS with "Colors", not to mention other big room releases on CR2 Records and Vicious. His most notable work may still be in the punching up of anthemic hits, with bootlegs of Avicii and Fedde Le Grand sounding absolutely massive. At the age of 17, you may not see Osen in the nightclubs just yet, but school's out for the summer, and it's only a matter of time until you see this El Paso native carrying his sound to the main stage. Grab this one for free download and keep your eye on this guy in the coming months.
