Manchester-born vocalist Adio Marchant aka Bipolar Sunshine is no stranger to our EARMILK readers. The UK native has graced these fine pages on many an occasion, as we've seen the true development of his career over these past months. With his first ever SXSW firmly under his belt, and a whole new legion of fans cottoning on to his eclectic collection of music, it appears that Mr. Marchant is stepping ever closer to super stardom.
Following hot on the heels of his last release, the video for the melodic "Where Did The Love Go", and appearing just in time for summer, the young Mancunian has released his latest single "Deckchairs On The Moon", via BBC Radio 1's god-like Aussie presenter, Zane Lowe. "Deckchairs On The Moon" was given Lowe's Hottest Record In The World accolade on his show tonight, and now we've been treated to the full studio version. Bipolar Sunshine follows suit to his previous singles, and delivers another anthemic gem that'll have people all over the world singing and dancing. The track is driven by a some epic sounding piano chords, and a stompingly simple yet effective drum beat, as smaller synths cut through the mix. All of this sets as the perfect backdrop for Adio's soulfully tinged vocals to lay on top, with a huge 'sing along' chorus that is ridiculously catchy.
You can stream "Deckchairs On The Moon" below, and you can preorder the track on iTunes, ahead of it's July 6th release date.
