DJ Mustard has followed the first single from 10 Summers with another track which is sure to get rinsed by many a playlist. Last time the 23 year old producer came through with YG, Jeezy and Que for the bouncy West Coast sounds of “Vatos”, and he’s made sure to install us with another sure fire banger with “Down On Me”. It features the input of 2 Chainz and Ty Dolla $ign who both put in strong performances on the searing beat that boasts generous helpings of Mustard. If “Vatos” was all about the crew, “Down On Me” is the sequel that sees the California native invite his buddies to the strip club. While Ty Dolla $ign’s hook is lyrically one dimensional, his autotuned croon is guaranteed to garner unorthodox applause from stages around the world littered with cash.
